The fifth China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue was held in Beijing Diaoyutai Guesthouse on December 4th – 5th. Chinese Vice Premier WANG Qishan and US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson co-chaired the meeting as special representatives of state leaders of the two countries. The China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue, initiated by PRC President HU Jintao and US President George W. Bush in September 2006, is the most important high-level dialogue between China and the USA. The dialogue is held twice a year by turns in China and the USA.
TAIDEN Company provided both the conference and simultaneous interpretation system for the 5th Dialogue. Totally 40 pieces HCS-4100 Fully Digital Conference System delegate units and around 300 HCS-5100 Digital IR Language Distribution System sets were in use during the meeting, featuring speech, simultaneous interpretation and automatic video-tracking facilities, providing audio output recording and simultaneous live broadcasting for media from all over the world. |
